Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default choke tube in browning

My 12 gauge browning A5 is around 20 years old. I recently purchased an undertaker tube for it and it will not fit. From eyeball comparisons it appears to be a very small difference between my factory choke and the new tube. The undertaker slides in up to the threads and stops and cannot be started to thread. Did browning change their chokes indicating this thing was not designed for my gun or is this a problem with the choke?

Thanks for any help

J

I think I figured it out. Apparently there are two chokes for the browning invector. I have the one for the invector plus.

Anyone want a good deal for a model 00659 undertaker?

Maybe you can take it back and exchange it for the Invector tube. Honest mistake.

Digi, I think all 12 ga Brownings made after 93 take the invector plus and I think all the 10 ga's still take the plain invector.

Got it off ebay so it looks like I am stuck with it. I got it at a real good deal so it isn't too big a loss.

Digi,

I might possibly be interested in the choke if you don't can't return it. Email me what you would take for the choke.
