I for one have been waiting for this. I have an uncle who has been turkey hunting from Boonville, Indiana for over 35yrs and has been chompping at the bit. Now, he has more chances to get that "one" turkey allowed.

This is great. I live in southern indiana and deer hunt with a bow, too, so i guess i may have a chance at one. This may be a stupid question, but i've never done it before. Do you hunt turkeys the same in the fall as in the spring? As far as calling and stuff like that...
a good tactic in the fall is too find a flock and bust up the flock make sure the birds scatter in all directions then wait 15 minutes and call using the kee-kee call call from the spot where you busted up the flock this works when you bust up aflock of hens and young of the year birds using abow i would suggest using a pop up blind to hide movement while drawing have fun
shuler44,
do you know what you can kill in the fall? Does it matter what you kill in the spring season as to the fall limit? I knew we had a fall season now, but havent heard anything about bag limts or anything.
I will not give up a day of deer hunting to chase them. But I have some food plots and I sit in big cedar trees and will have no problem drawing back on one from there. I have do it quite a few time just to see if I could.
