Thanks for the comment. I was using a canon Powershot, now I am using a canon 10d digital with a 200mm L f/2.8 IS USM.

I noticed a lot of pics of the same jake and It looks like the same 2 longbeards - are they your pets or did you just get a lot of shots of the same birds??

Thanks for the nice comments. 1865, I was anywhere from 15 to 40 yards for most shots. Quik, When I first started photographing these birds there was 16 mature toms and about 35 hens. I did get alot of pictures of the same turkeys. after a while they were the only ones showing up. It did'nt matter with me I was just HAPPY to get these pictures.

Oh my gosh!! Those are some beautiful spring turkey pics!! Seeing all those REALLY gets my spring turkey hunting fever up until I look out the window and see all the snow and ice![:@] Awesome work MLO, thanks for sharing them!
