Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default seen turkeys.. but no gobblers

hey all.. i am new to turkey hunting but i look forward to hunting turkeys this coming season.

i have seen many turkeys while i was out deer hunting, but they have all been hens. i have yet to see a gobbler. it seems odd that i would not see any gobblers, with all the hens being around. any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

This time of year the gobblers are seperated from the hens. The old gobblers are off by themselves or in small groups and the jakes pretty much runnin in their own groups. At times you'll see hens and gobblers together but it's usually cause they're feedin in the same place but not actually runnin together.Nice pictures

If those hens are there in the spring, you know gobblers aren't too far away.

gobblers break away from hens but if those hens are still there when spring comes you know there will be gobblers.
