Anybody else get in on the drawing and quota hunt? Dad and I got lucky and got in on both.

Anyone want to give up some productive areas in these two places?

I almost got lost in Green Swamp once as dusk was falling. Make sure you carry your compass or GPS. The trees all start to look alike once you get in there deep. And a 6' gator startled me there as I got too close before he saw me.

I'll be next door on a quota hunt.

Will you be camping?

Yeah, I carry a GPS all the time. Use it in my boat for duck hunting in the Glades too.

My dates are in March. Plan on camping just like last year, but this time I'll be camping at both areas.

Got lucky last year at green swamp and saw some birds. No shot though. Hope both will be open for some pre season scouting.

Talked to a new hunting buddy just 2 days ago. He has a hunting lease in Labell. Said after the hurricanes saw nothing but turkey and hogs. Seem to me that it was hard on the deer but not much else.

Believe me, if I can pre scout this area prio to the hunt at anytime I will and keep you all posted.
