Depending on how hard its raining, you might need to call louder than usual, and the turkeys will probably be a little more cautious.

Never hunted turks down south. But the birds will normally come out in the fields when it is raining. Hope that helps and good luck.

must be nice......i work in christmas, which is just like 15 minutes away...if you get time, take a drive through tosohatchee state reserve,it's beautiful and you'll most likely see critters.....
the way it has been raining here, i's stick it out and get wet for awhile because the storms dont last too long and then the turkeys will out more so..if it is a lite rain, it'll just bring em out in the fields so they can hear better...and feed good luck to ya, hope you like it here

I don't know about Oceola, but most turkey don't much care for rain, so they'll usually be in heavy cover under the canopy of the trees. But, if it happens to stop raining while you're hunting, look for them out in the fields. They'll be there drying their feathers. I realize that I'm late posting, so I hope you had a good hunt.
