What kinds of things do you look for when Scouting for Turkeys?

Any One ?

Since I am new to Turkey Hunting I have a Idea of what to look for.

But it would be nice to know for sure what to look for.

Default RE: Scouting For Turkeys ?

This may sound funny but seein turkeys themselves is a good place to start. Maybe you'll see them feedin in a field or while you're huntin deer. Now you know they're in that area.Go for a walk.Look for tracks in the mud, droppins(gobbler droppins are J shaped, hen droppins are shaped like popcorn) feathers layin on the ground.scratchins in the leaves also.
