Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default wind

does the wind play any factors in turkey hunting ? I was planning on going bowhunting in the morning but they are calling for 20 mph winds not the best time to be in a tree stand so maybe it's time for turkey any input ?

Default RE: wind

Not really anything to worry about, when it come's to the turkey. One good thing they can't smell you. Really windy days will get the birds a little edgy and nervous. But they'll still follow the same routes they take to their feeding grounds and watering holes. Find their roost tree and if you know where they go from there, setup a couple hundreds yards away, and wait them out. Good luck to ya!!
