Here's a pic of the Turkey I got yesterday. It came out of a flock of a couple dozen Merriams. There are three birds with white wings in the flock. A big ol' hen, a poult and a Jake. I chose the Jake. A few old timer Turkey guys have told me that a Rio x Merriam will sometimes (but fairly rare) produce birds with white wings.
Sorry about the size of the pic -- I haven't had time to resize it yet.

Just a Jake -- er - uh - check out my first post -- it was harvested 09/25/04 -- that would have been "yesterday" when I made my post )

The reason I asked Doc,is I didn't know if you got the pic's yesterday or Washington has an unusally early fall season??Here in Calif,we dont open up fall season till the first part of Nov!!Once again great bird!![8D]
