I bought one from bass pro and i thought it lookes pretty darn good. Hard as hell to assemble though, never did it the way the instructions said too.

This wouldn't be the cheapest route to go, but I'd look around the internet for some exotic rifle stock wood blanks, or even instrument woods, buy it, and then take it to a custom furniture maker, or a cabinet maker and see what you guys can work out.

IMHO you just can't go wrong with beautiful wood.

Here is one display that I make. This is a pic sent to me from a friend who has mounted one of his fans in it.

I dont know if any of you guys have done this , but my sister is a florist, and she suggested to me as a house warming gift, that she would like to make a wreath out of turkey feathers that I got from the spring season this year... I've got to say this is one of the most unique items in my living room. Its just awsome, it is a little different than having all those fans around, and its another way to utilize more of the bird itself. You might want to consider that!??
