Here in Nebraska our bow season starts 3 weeks before the shotgun seasons and then runs through to the end of shotgun season. Bow season should start March 25th and run to mid. May. If I get drawn for a shotgun permit I will hang up the bow for just that period of time. Hopefully that will not be an issue if I can get one tom early with my bow and another during the shotgun season.

Not only am I going to use a bow, this will be my first ever turket hunt. In Ohio, the spring season runs from April 22 to May 19, and you're allowed to use either a shotgun, bow, or crossbow the entire season. I'm using my PSE Fire-Flight compound.

I'm with you Bogobble, I'll going to try it for at least a week in Ky season. I haven't had any luck with a fall bow turk this year, although I've been close. I will be putting in some serious practice time when the weather breaks.

Bow for me, IF I get a permit. I've been trying like heck this fall, had one shot and complete miss.(a rangfinder is being sought now) But I love the challenge of taking a bird with a bow. I'm using a "BEAR" Whitetail Xcel 70#, 29" draw and a lot of luck.

We can take 3 birds here in Tennessee , so I'll try to bag one with the shotgun first and then pick up the bow .

I'll be in a couple states this spring and will have the bow with me each time in the woods.

I will be using a PSE compound or a ten point crossbow and hopefully be luckier than I was in the fall. I talked to them and they hot closer but never came in sight
