Default Poult sightings

Seen two hens with poults this past sat. It looked like they had around 8 to 10 poults. They looked like they were a little bigger than a quail...

Saw 13 Day Ago.
Turkey Pop Very Low Here This Year.
Normally See Many Lil One When Cutting Hay Or Nests Never Saw A One.
And This Spring Season Seemed Like Turkey Pop Was Down.
It Seems Like They Got A Disese (Cant Spell lol) Found 4 Dead Turkeys In One Area And Others Out In The Woods.

Saw a hen this morn on my way to work just off from my house. She crossed the road and Ihad to break for her poults, about 10-12 count, just a little larger than a grouse.

Two weeks ago I saw two hens with poults and they where about the size of a quail.....again, I had to break for them.....shut the truck off and listened.....magical.

i too love the sound of them, i hope our population this year of toms and jakes are going to be higher than last year. Last year was a bad year for here in ohio, hope next year is great.

Ken, I seen a hen and her brood a few weeks ago, and they all looked to be in great shape. This weather has been pretty darn wet and a lot cooler than most years!!
