I met this guy from Briley today at my local gun shop. Anyhow he was telling me about there new turkey hunting choke it has straight rifling in it and it's supost to be state of the art. Anybody else know anything about it.. It's 59.00. After talking to him I'm really thinking about getting it.

I had a Briley straight rifled tube for my Remington turkey gun and it shot great patterns. The riflings slow the wad down to reduce the disruption of the shot string as the pellets leave the barrel. I think.

The straight rifle choke tube is just an off idea of the Hastings Wad lock barrel. The idea behind this system is to stop the wad from spinning an add a more of a Lobe to your shot.

I own the Hastings Wad lock barrel that is rifled from the chamber to the choke of the gun. I aswell have tried near every choke out there with this system including the Comp-N-Choke.

If your looking for a Tube and am going to spend $60.00 US on it, then maybe look into the Percision choke that is made in Toronto. I don't believe you will be disappointed at all.

I've seen some of the Remington Turkey guns shoot as every bit as good as mine and are about $200.00 cheper then mine...BT
