Default Anybody seeing any poults yet?

i ahve been seein' them for a few weeks now, actually i saw about 12-15 3-5 day olds just a few days ago and they were with another batch about a month older.....40-50 total.....what a sight that was.....

Sure am, visted my sister this last weekend and there was 4 different hens all with poults in the field next to her house. couldn't get an accurate count of them. But I'd have to say close to 25-30 poults with them all.

Ya,Longbeard like Ma we also have poults that are 2 months old and others definately younger!Always brings a smile to my face,just hope they keep dodging these dang hawks!!![:@]

I have seen 4 or 5 hens with them. NOt sure how many was with them though.

We've gotten three reports, the last about 2.5 mos ago that there were 5 poults with a hen. That's good news for us, since they are the first poults seen on our island ina few years. If they make it, they'll boost the knonw size of our small flock by 20%.(yep, it's that small...for now)
