RE: Vote for your favorite Gobbler pic?
The thing that gets me with these photo contests are,, and noughting agaist Goerge and his site , I think he is a great person and love to help him out, But
1/ He tells everyone on the first line , for all members to vote,, this post is mearly a plug in my eyes for the site and voting towards the contest. George has a members list on the site and can email all members of the site
2/ He also tells everyone to enter One photo,,, the first 3 post has the same person with both birds they shot! Someone didn't read the above rule.
3/ Some of the Photo's are so darn large in size that it takes all day to have them down load, and I only have so much time to be on the net and look after 2 boards in that time.
4/ Some Photo's don't even work/Download.
5/ What are we voting On/For [&:] , I have no idea what I'm suppost to look for in the photo, Oringinal, the biggest pic, The cutest Kid ???
6/ these are just some of the paticulars in the reason I do not enter these type of contest and don't have the time to vote aswell.
If these type of Contests are put togeather, there needs to be a layout and rules involed. If a user can't read the Top Post/Rules and places more then one photo , then he should be dismissed from the contest.
Sorry , but this is why I have a problem with this post on this site, again , noughting agaist George...BT
