Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default What kind of decoy would you use?

If you could carry only one decoy, which would it be? Jake? Feeding hen? Alert hen? Gobbler? I'll also count a Jake/hen breeding combination as one.

it would be between the feeding hen and the breeding jake/hen. just depends on the situation i guess.

It depends on the situation and where I'm hunting. One area that I hunt the Toms seem really agressive and I killed two this year when the came right to my 1/2 strut jake decoy. I did have a hen out then but they came to the jake. I also got a bird over just a hen decoy this year.

I would use a Sceery® "Full Strut Jake" and a resting hen.

I would definitely go with a hen over a jake. i dont know about feeding or head-up, probably the head up one.

I'd get out a Feather Flex hen, and then turn around and put it back in the truck and go hunt without one.
