Well guys, I can tell you from my experience on April 30th when I got mine, they were NOT henned up in area 5. The first gobbles I heard, were across the river in an island about 300 yards away. The were far enough away that I didn't even here them fly down, but once they were down, they came straight for me. The problem ended up being that they were on the WRONG side of the river...lol They would come to the river bank and strut when they saw my decoys (hen/jake) and then go back in the treeline. It was around 6:20 when I got really aggressive on the diaphram call and the 3 of them gobbled. Just after the trio gobbled, I heard 2 other gobbles that were roughly 250 yards away, also on the wrong side of the river, but those 2 crossed over. I'm thinking it was a fortunate thing because when the trio gobbled at my calling, the other two came to get in on or bust up the action. Lucky for me because out of those two came my biggest bird at 28.6 pounds. Good Luck to ALL WI hunters, and stay SAFE!!
