Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default 1st Turkeys in Arizona

We killed these birds in the White Mountains in Arizona. Had to be one of the best hunts we have ever been on.

It was pretty quiet all morning. We didn't get one anwser calling. We started heading back to camp when we ran across about 20 birds. We tried calling on them with no answer. So we desided to try a stalk. We made the move real slow. It was real thick so it was good. There was 2 toms competing for the hens. They had such a woody for them they were in dream land. When I got close enough to shoot I looked at my buddy about 30 yards beside me he hadn't see them yet. The two toms were side by side facing away from me completely fanned out with some hens in front of them. Mine turn and looked at me so I took him. It was amazing. The other tom turned started strutting around mine while it was flopping on the ground. He turned and looked at my buddy and it was over. It was Sweet!
I did get to call one in the next morning for another friend that drove down from Los Vegas. So it was a pretty good hunt.
