PA Opening Day Is Finally Here!!!! PA Hunters Stand up and Be counted!!!

Finally opening day is here in PA. Who will be out there gettin after them gobblers? Lets see how many PA turkey hunters we have on this board and tell us where you'll be hunting. I live in State College, PA and will be hunting just over the mountain on a private farm in Julian PA.

I will be after the big longbeards tommorrow also and all of next week, i will be hunting up here in the mountains of northcentral pa in elk county state game lands, (lots of gobblers)

I'll be heading out across Mauch Chunk Lake in Carbon County for a dual hunting/fishing day.

I'll be harassing those longbeards in either Cambria County (near Prince Galitzen State Park) or Huntingdon County (near Lake Raystown)...haven't decided yet. Will hopefully be able to decide this evening after I put some turks to bed!

With a week break from last Saturday's youth day I'm choppin at the bit...we successfully took 3 longbeards for three youth hunters and not booking any clients for our opener so we can hunt ourselves...I'm anxious....the next two weeks are then booked and I won't be hunting for me.....good luck to all.

out past bellefonte...i will give it a try....the turkey are only there some time so its kinda a hit or miss, if not in bucks county, we have a small farm that is loaded with them....good luck everyone

I will be out also been waiting all winter. Seeing good number of birds. This will be my 10th year hunting spring turkey been doing it since age 13 and today is my 23rd birthday. What a great present if i get a longbeard tommorow. My dad and I will be hunting in Crawford county

Ill be in westmoreland county hunting where i did last week f, i had 3 gobblers at abot 100 yards ut they werent interested , they just were feeding in a group , maybe tommoorw will be the day...
