Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Merriams in Illinois??

on the 5th day of 1st season in Southern IL, I had a jake come in at about 9:30am. Had to wax'em, only had a first season tag. When I retrieved the jake I noticed something diffrent. His tail feather tips and the tips of the feathers at the base of the fan were white! Similar markings to those of a merriam. My question is does anybody know of Marriams in Illinois?
