The RSFT choke is .665. The Remington is .675 because you need a more open choke to shoot hevi shot. HS does not like the tighter constricted chokes that are used with lead.
I shoot hevi shot out of the rem choke. and get good patterns. Go to the hevishot website, not remmingtons and read up on the choke selection. Hevishot says its ok to shoot through the rem choke.
