Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Turks sense of smell?

New to the game and trying to get within bow range, was wondering if how well there sense of smell was. The place I'm hunting is full of ticks and skeeters.

Houdini,

If they could smell real good, we wouldn't even get a chance with a shotgun!

Could you image what turkey hunting would be like if they could smell as good as a deer?? Especially out in the hot spring heat (excluding some states)?? You would probably have to start hunting them with a 22-250 or something!
