Help with my Martin Brothers Call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently purchased a Martin Brothers glass competition turkey call. I have a big problem. I have been conditioning the call for 2 weeks now and the striker, and all I get is soft yelps and every now and then a real big squeek. I can't keep it from squeeking and it just sounds horrible. Now when I went to Bass Pro one of the people working there had just opened a brand new one up and just sounded amazing. I need help on what I am supposed to do to get it sounding right. Please help.

Try some other strikers and when you condition, only cut parallel lines in the glass surface, don't make a circular motion with your coarse sandpaper or Primos conditioning stick diamond cutter. Then pull your striker at right angles to the parallel lines.

I would try using some course sand paper and see if u can get that to work and use a variety of strikers. If this fails i would take if back and get a new one.
