Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Kansas Turkeys

Will be headed down to East Kansas April 18-22. I have a couple of questions for you Turkey hunting "Gurus". Do I need snake chaps? What type of camo works the best? Would like to bring
only what is necessary. Thanks to all who give out such good info, to a novice like me it is deeply
appreciated.

You won't need snake chaps, just be alert of where you sit! As far as camo, they are all good. I prefer Mossy Oak. Be sure you are fully covered in camo including hands and face. Mornings are sometimes cool, so have a light camo jacket handy, and layer so that you can adjust to the day warming, but always keep your arms covered in camo. Patience is the greatest secret you could ever be given. Turkeys don't have a time schedule, you will kill more birds taking your time than 'runnin and gunnin!' Good Luck
