A friend of mine tryed to apply late on the 10th on line, but their on line application system was down. He emailed them about this and found out that so many people tryed to apply at the last minute, that their system went down. Since people couldn't apply on line then, the last day, the state decided to extend the deadline for 2 more days.

I had tried to check out the online template around Dec 1st but it errored out so I went down to Gander Mt and got it done. It's been like clockwork for me the last 10 years or so that when deer hunting is done in MN, I am in turkey mode and check both the MN and WI website to get the deadline dates. This year, I even put a Calendar appointment on my email at work to pop up at the end of Nov to remind me to get it done. I use email reminders for alot of hunting deadlines as memory is not one of my strong points!!!

last year i mistakingly forgot to send in so i hunted every week, without a gun and had at least 5 different toms on different mornings within 30 yds. i was disgusted that i hadnt sent in. so this year i made sure i did and this year my luck will be not a single tom within a mile.
