We always go with the store bought except for the year I got the bright idea to raise my own. I got some poults way to early and by the time thanksgiving came around the hens weighed 30 some lbs and one tom weighed in at 53 lbs . they wouldn' t fit in the oven whole , but they were great quartered . I still get kidded about that one .

We had both store bought and wild. I think the wild was better, because I shot it!!
