Check with zmax hunter on here. He has hunts out of Kansas and an extremely high success rate.

If you want the public land route I know a few spots in Oklahoma but they are highly pressured and can be hit or miss. Plenty of birds there though

Try hunting black kettle wma in Oklahoma during the middle of the week during the last half of the season. The gobblers respond well this time in the season and there are a lot of them. Best public land otc rio hunt out there. Its been my experience that the crowds have gone by this point for the most part. There are several other wmas within 30 miles that have good numbers of rios also. Just never try opening week or weekends

Jakhammer125 if your out there then you have probably seen me lol I am normally out there and at Packsaddle but the last few years its been hammered all season. Normally after the first 2 weeks most hunters have left but unfortunately it. If ya get a good rainy week that is the best time as most of the hunters out there are fair weather hunters lol

Check the Texas Hunting Forum under guides and outfitters. Plenty available.

Turkey hunting is a sport involving the pursuit of the elusive wild turkey. Long before the European settlers arrived in North America, the Native Americans took part in hunting wild turkeys.
