Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Got my fall permit

I drew for a ML antlerless tag in early December here in VT. Not sure if I'll be cleared to hunt after my recent surgery. I'll have to do some thinking how I can convert that tag to less empty freezer space. Caldwell lead sled might offer a way to shoot without the recoil or possibly doing it with a crossbow which should be legal during the ML but I'll have to check. I am missing out of some great fall fishing for the pan fish I am usually hammering on around here and now with bow season coming in a couple weeks it is going to get discouraging but I'll make it. EDIT>>>>>Just noticed this is about turkey...duh in the turkey forum so in keeping with that...I won't be able to hunt them either. Shooting a 3 1/2" mag out of a 6 pound gun would't do well with my open heart recovery
