Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Struck out in NY, got a PA bird 2 days ago. Still hoping to fill a couple tags in VA, all with my turkey dog.

I was in a shop recently and found some older Remington 00 Hevi shot buckshot. Scored 5 boxes. Now that Hevi Shot loads their own, the price is roughly $25 per box of 5. I won't pay that kind of money.
I'm quite pleased to have found those Remingtons.

As for the fall turkey, I won't be after them particularly, however, if one mistakenly gets in my way while deer hunting, I'll gladly add it to the pot. I hunt 2 areas where turkey populations are good to very good, so I'm expectant of bagging one.

I shoot a lot of turkeys in the fall if we get a lot of snow. You can pattern then go in the field in the morning.
