Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Will They Come Back, When ????????

I was bowhunting for turkey today. I had a group of 9 birds approach from behind me and worked their way in front of me, I put my 30 yard pin on one of the birds and released the arrow only to watch the arrow go over the turkeys back, obviously the bird was closer than I had estimated[X(][:@] Fortunatly it was a clean miss, now the turkeys were spooked and quickly vacated the area.
Will they come back to this area ?
If so how long do you think before they will come back?
I plan on letting the area rest until mid next week.
Thanks for any help you can give me

If they like the area and weren' t just passing through, they should be back. I think a day or two would be fine to wait. They do tend to wander quite a bit (at least where I hunt), so they may move on anyway, not because they spooked, just because they want to. Good luck

RayC; This is a river bottom that is kinda shaped like a D ,and is bordered on all sides by oak ridges, I found that they are feeding on the river bottom and where they are drinking at the river is a nice sandy beach area they are roosting on the ridges above the river bottom on a pretty regular basis, sometimes I have sat in my stand and watched them fly up to roost right over me
Thanks for the help, Ill be back there to try again next week.
