I' d let the turkeys be the judge of your call before you actually say you can make a TURKEY call...

Your not alone,my brother-in-law calls alot with his natural voice.His yelps and clucks sound better than most mechanical calls i' ve heard and i' ve witnessed first hand his success afield also.I wish I had that ability crc,it would save me a small fortune in turkey calls!!!

I tried to make a turkey call from my throat, too, but once I got the turkey in my throat, it just wouldn' t call.

[:' (] I used to be able to make a wonderfull turkey call with my voice, I called in turkeys for people and they were Shot. I could Gobble yelp kee-kee putt etc.
But then my voice went low[:@] and i cant do it no more it sux because i called in some nice toms,Even hens,I called in one jake one time he was really puutting alot and i started putting i really pee-d him off he was just a putting but yeah its nice when you can make turkey calls with your voice. But When you get older it goes away,[:@]

[:' (] But if you can do it i would sugjest doing it alot! to keep the muscles going and the voice up, I only did it when i hunted in spring never practiced....So keep it up!
