Default Wild Turkey causes fatal accident!

Northern New York State:

A fellow driving his motorcycle lost control (and his life) after hitting a wild turkey this past Sunday. I don' t know if the bird was a gobbler or a hen or if the bird was already in the road or flying down early in the AM.

A couple of springs ago, I heard that some guy stopped in the middle of the road to watch a strutting tom (in the road) and that caused a 3 car pile pileup--no one hurt though!

That' s amazing and I' m sure not the first so very, very rare. Man, I know a bee feels like a 30.06 hitting you, a small bird would be bad enough but a turkey.... would have to like a cannon ball.
