Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Seen Something neet ! yesterday

I've been working at my own home for last couple of days doing some framing,as the weather has been nice , so out side work is a must. I have heard the yelping of hens out across the road for the last couple of days ,so I grabbed a mouth call and yelped along with them just to work on the beat of the call. Well Yesterday I stopped to count around 90 birds walking through the front yard , what a sight family flocks birds everywhere, and even heard a young Jake let loose with a gobble. The winter here in Ontario has been great as of now we have more grass showing then snow so I would think it will be a great winter/spring for the birds.Thats about enough to get a fellow all cranked up !...BT

Sounds good, hopefully the winter doesn't just come later. The worst winter I can remember was 3 or 4 years ago in MARCH. The blizzard left 6' drifts in my driveway.
