Patterning questions Benelli nova w/ primos jellyhead choke
So I set up a white posterboard 30 yd away and I drew a 3" diameter circle in the middle. Shot at it and below is what I saw. The first is the Winchester supreme 1 3/4 oz 5 shot 3" shell. Second, is the hevi shot 2 oz 6 shot 3" shell. The third is the remington nitro 1 7/8 oz 6 shot 3" shell. Again, all shots are from 30yd away. Obviously all seemed to be a little low and to the left. See below for more.

The remington nitro was adjusted slightly and tried again. This is what I got. Then I chose to only shoot the hevi shot and remington nitro at the turkey head target. Those pics are attached. The remington seemed to pattern the best. So I think I am going with it. Do you guys agree? Would that be a dead turkey?

Not sure if you did this or not but I would take more than one shot with each. You might've pulled it or been slightly off. If you did take more than one shot with each then nevermind this post!! Lol
My Benelli was off from the get go and I took the stock off and turned the metal plate around found in the inside of the stock.
That fixed that. Glad I did not need those other shims because I could not figure how to make them work.
But to your targets. The Turkey is dead in one photo and maybe in the other. Your white targets it does appear to be low on all 3 and low and to the right on 2 of them.
Your heavi shot white paper is still to the right.
Do look for a set of clamp on open sights as I had them on my Benilli. That ought to help you dial this in much better. I used a set of Tru Glo that allowed for Windage and Elevation. They fit over the Rib and a plastic shim was inserted underneath that kept them in place. Stay away from the magnetic kind.

That is right info. You need to adjust the sights not the Kentucky windage style shooting. My nova has tru-glu triviz sights on it that I can adjust. My new gun has a red dot style holographic sight. That being said You really want to set up at 20 yds, shoot different rounds. You might look great at 30 but way off on the 20. Then you move to 40 yards. Shoot again. This way you get a true picture of what you are doing. As was stated earlier, you might pull or have a bad round or what.

Yea, the problem is that was my only chance to pattern before I go. Maybe I will be lucky. I am not clear on alll the different sights you guys are talking about.

Your Nova has a fix sight if I remember right, which mean you can't move it. The other sights we were talking about are adjustable. Tru glo makes one and you can find it at any sporting store, usually...But there are others that are adjustable. You need to find what works. Now I am not trying to get on a high horse, but I'd suggest that if you only patterned the 30yds that would be my limit to how far to shoot. At 40 you might do a good maime job on the bird or you could have a great pattern...just would chance it.

I don't think I will have to shoot more than 30yds. Thats why I only patterned to there. Although, I think it is fair to be concerned with a shorter shot. I really didn't have any help while doing this from anyone in the know on this type of stuff. So I am going forward blindly other than what help I get on here. My g/f's dad takes me with him and he is an awesome caller. Gets his limit every year. It's just up to me to make the shot. Hopefully the remington nitros will do it for me!

It seems to me that it is your POA (point of aim).
All the patterns seem to be "low".
So, you just need to put your bead (POA) at the top of his head.
Whatever you did on the "last" turkey target is perfect !

My nova was throwing everything high and right. I ended up shooting the remington nitro 3", #5's. It worked well enough for me to take my bird at 37 yards.
