Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Tru Glo red dot scope for remmington

I am old, and I finally need optical help, does anyone have history on a Tru Glo red dot for a remmington 870 super mag. I am interested in the saddle that comes with the scope, does it slip or go off POA after shooting several times. Should I go with another recommendation altogether? Thanks anyone.

My Remington 870 SPS-T came with a Truglo red dot and I probably shot 25+ shots thru it at the range last year and never had a problem. This is the first shotgun I've used with a scope and for me I really like it. I watched my bird strut into range last spring the entire time thru the scope like I was watching him at home on my big screen. Just seems to be a less obstructive view than looking down the barrel and through a bead or sight. I know you can buy better quality red dot scopes, but I'll stick with this one until it gives me a reason to change. I'll be putting to the test again in the next few weeks with a few new loads to try - but so far so good!

Hey wlecome to my world! Those dang back ramps have disapeared and the front sight is blurry!

I went to a Nikon Monarch Turkey Pro on my 11-87 some 7 yrs ago! Once I had that scope dialed in back in 2004 I have not touched the scope since.

The gun has been flawless! Its Smack on which still allows me to take thos 7 yad shots and longer if needed!
