was getting ready to do some loggin this morn, heard a turkey gobble 4 times on the ridge above me

Colorado......
I see Rios every morning on the way home from work they where gobbling, strutting, fighting and gobbling in early January and still are.
I think it is just part of their winter activity, anyone have any ideas?
