Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Double Beard Down in Delaware!!!

Well I thaught I had been snake bit as far as turkey hunting. I was wrong. Yesterday at 12 noon I had this nice tom come in with a buddy. The shot was 45 yards. He was 23 1/4 lbs, 2 beards 10 1/2 and 7 inch. He had 1 broken spur, it was 1 inch and the other was 1 1/2. Pictures to come!! Best yet my buddy called me when I told him I killed a double bearded bird and asked me if he had white on his fan. Well yes he did and he sent me trail camera pictures of him!!

Thanks you all. I am pretty stoked about it. I had been after them hard for two weeks prior to when I shot him. I had long beards under 70 yards of me 6 times in 2 weeks and they all ignored me. Deffinetly and emotional roller coaster.

Countertop, In delaware we have to take our birds to a designated check station. They register the bird and place a metal band around there leg.

Congratulations and this will pump you up even more!

Your NWTF Score

Your score is 23.25 + 10 + 15 + 35 = 83.25

That is a very nice score and right up there for a non-typical!
