Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Daughter Doubles Up With Dad And Her First Turk

Opening morning (Monday) at 8:40am. Called in a couple of hens and 15 minutes behind comes her bird in full strut and in all his glory. Daughter (who has only hunted whitetails opening morning) does an Arty Johnson on him at 30 yards. The hen just stands there for 15 minutes trying to figure out what happened when in walks Tom #2 who does a triple ganor for Dad. They were both 24 pounds with 9 1/2" beards. That poor hen. It just wasn't her day loosing two boyfriends in 15 minutes! But this Dad couldn't be more proud to have been there with his daughter (I was sitting right behind her left shoulder in a blind) to see the whole thing unfold. These are moments that not even Kodak can preserve and is something I will cherish forever! I couldn't help but wanting to share it with everyone. I have shot a lot of turkeys, but none more special than this one of hers. Thanks for looking.
