are raspy mouth calls good for hunting?

i can do good yelps on my hsstrut raspy old hen and good flydowns on my stagger3 depends on what calls you can do better on each diaphram

I like raspy calls. Sound like an old boss hen and get results.

Raspy mouth calls are a good choice, but at times and even place they sometimes won't get the action we are after, and visa versa. Learn to use both types of calls, don't depend just on one type of mouth call...
