Turkeys are not as aggressive in the afternoon as they are in the mornings. This means limit any run and gun tastics and sit close to feeding areas and call only in a limited fashion as they don't talk alot. Suttle yelping, purr and clucks and only the very odd cackle to allow distance birds to work in your direction. Always keep a good eye for movement and walking birds, they do not all the time come in strutting and gobbling like the mornings.
Setups should be well hidden as birds will most times catch you before you catch them ...
If poss set up where the toms last saw hens, strutting area, roost area yelping and cutting can work well just don't call none stop call maybe every 20 30 min. I have brought em in from long distances with loud yelping anywhere from 10am to 4pm.
Good luck
