Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Encore-.660 IC-3" 2oz.- Hevi 13 7's-40 yds.

For some reason I just don't have good luck posting pic's here. This is one I wish I could get up. I do everything as far as photobucket goes and for some reason they never come up. Anyways, the ol Encore did good. I measured the distance (40 yds.) with my rangefinder. The conditions weren't perfect with a light drizzle and about a 6-8 mph crosswind. I had 227 hits in a 10" circle and shot from a sitting position with the gun rested on my knee.

Sounds like a pretty good pattern to me!

Andy- Yep it'll rock your world. I put a thumbhole stock on it 2 yrs. ago and had the trigger re-worked. It's probably the only turkey gun out there with a 2.25 lb. pull that breaks like glass. Best 75.00 bucks I ever spent. I'd hate to shoot it with the factory trigger. The thumbhole does more for recoil than the Sim's pad I added to the back of it. I love totin' it. I've got some Mag Blends that I plan to run through it tomorrow.

You want to COPY the DIRECT LINK code under your image on photobucket not the IMG Code or other options.

Then when you click on the "Insert Image" icon on your post here it will bring up the pop-up box. When that box pops up you want to delete the original http:// and then PASTE your DIRECT LINK on that line and you will be good to go and I promise your image will show up on your post.

I want to see that Encore pattern... you shooting the SAME gun/choke and shot that I am! LOL!

This was fired by my 9 year old son, from 40... a bit to the right but he was sitting on the ground and shooting with a slight wind. He's gonna destroy any bird that pokes his head up!

No doubt. They point like a bird gun and carry like a walking stick.

I don't think I have 227 pellets in the whole shell shooting my little 20 banger. Ain't nothin' safe within 200 feet of you and that Encore man!

Thanks Il.!! Yep, that pattern your kid shot will work just fine. Mine was a tad rt. but I'm not too worried about it. That was from a sitting position out in the middle of a pasture just propping up on my knee (like the real thing-lol). I know those 7's hammered that bird I shot on Sat. I had several full body and head pass thru's.
I'm gonna shoot some MagBlends tomorrow so be looking for that post. Now that I can post pic's- watch out!! hehe

Shot the Hevi 13 Magnum Blends today. They would work but I'm sticking with the 7's.

Where did you get your 7's from? I'd like to try that load with my new choke when I figure out what I'm getting.
