Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Indian Creek chokes

Just bought an Indian Creek .665 for my Mossberg 535. It was patterning great to 30 yrds. with the choke it came with but hits were much less at 40 yrds. So I took the forums advice and purchased the Indian Creek tube. Will the new choke give a much smaller pattern at the 30 yrd. distance?? I am looking for the best of both worlds. Am I giving up the close shot for a denser pattern long??

I use the Indian Creek Choke with my Mossberg 835, I get great results with HeviShot13, 2.25oz., 3.5" in either #5s or #6s

You will have a pattern roughly the size of a volleyball at 20 yards, and at 15 yards slightly bigger than a softball.

Just measured the pattern and would say the volleyball size is a good figure to use. The killing zone was 12 in. x 12 in.
