We have old, big, uneducated birds! Not many people turkey hunt around here. Nobody turkey hunts around here. We have a few monster gobblers! I mean monster gobblers! The one I saw, I really thought it was a deer!

lmao yeah we have big birds around here, not as much of the old birds. i mean i shot a tom with 10 1/2 inch beard but it was about as thick as a jakes beard. but yeah now i know who to call if im ever in "northern central iowa" during turkey season lol

Good luck brother, what little public land we have, it is over hunted! But, public hunting will make a man out of you! In my county, Palo Alto, we only killed 24 birds. 5 of which were at my hand. The rest were pretty much taken on public land.
