anybody got any advice for hunting turkey in the Gila,NewMexico

I did it last year with an outfitter. Didn't kill a turkey, but had a lot of close calls.
My advice-get in the best physical shape possible. And don't be afraid to follow the gobblers if they walk away, you may lure one in on persistence alone.
