Pure Gold .690, and Hevi 13 2-3/8oz #5's. Kicked like a son of a gun, but threw a nice pattern. I don't remember the number count exactly, but I'm thinking it was around 200-220.....sorry I cant find my paper work on it.

I used the 10 ga NEF Pardner for about 5 yrs. I used Nitro shells and the choke was a Kicks GT690. It murdered birds but I finally became too aware of the kick.
Bless you my son! Get ready for a pounding !! I shot a 10 ga. BPS pump one (and only one) morning on an Arkansas goose shoot using heavy loads ... as if there is such a thing as a light load 10 ga. shell !?! I shot 19 times.
I am a big guy and have been wing shooting since about 1963. I shot a bunch .... ducks and doves. I knew I had been pounded as soon as the shoot was done and we had ridden for about a hour on the way back home, but I had no clue. My shoulder was absolutely battered. Two days later there were greenish, bluish, purplish blood "stains" under my skin as far down as mid rib cage. If I ever use a 10 ga. again, every one of you has my permission to beat me !!
Longbeard , why in the world would you want to carry a 10 gauge when 12 gauge's are getting the same pattern with the same combo. .665 and #6 and we are getting 200 shot as well...
Just because I have one and from time to time I like to tote it around in the woods... I really havent turkey hunted with it in quite some time just for that reason... All my 12's pattern better then my 10ga lol
