Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Magnus Bull Heads

Anyone try out the Bull Heads by Magnus? I tried out the 100gr that you can supposively do body shots with and bounced an arrow right off a turkey pulling 72# draw weight! I was pissed. This happened like 2yrs ago.

Has anyone had good luck with these?

One of the guys on our team had really good success shooting them at turkeys with a crossbow. It took there heads right off but he did have to remove the foot stirrup to shoot them.

I've used the bullheads for the last two seasons and took 4 turkeys with them in that time. They are tougher than the guillotines, that's for sure, and just as effective.

We've learned the way to practice with them over and over without ruining the blades is to pen a paper target over the top of some 4" foam, with your regular target behind the foam. The broadheads will punch the paper and bounce off of the foam without ruining the blades.

I will be using the bullheads again this year. Just love the fact that I don't have to track my turkeys down after I shoot'em.
