Default Decoys WIA/KIA ' 03 spring

Ok let' s hear the final count...How many dekes were killed or wounded in the line of duty? my Delta hard rubber style stuff( must be some heavy foam or soemthign, feelsl ike rubber) took 27 copper plated #4' s. Anyone else get the deke?

Yep. Jack the Jake met his demise from a load of #4' s by my hunting buddy.[:' (] My friend did replace him for me though.[:-]

My wife passed on her first clear opportunity to harvest a nice tom because he was standing next to the decoy and she didn' t want to shoot the decoy. [] Thereafter, I explained to her that I did not object if she shot the decoy.

I wouldn' t hesitate to blast my own decoy if that was the only shot I got....I actually did get fooled by my own decoy when I got up and tried to move on a tom that walked down a line of brush. I " Froze" when I peaked out of the brush and looked down to where I had been set up (about 60 yards) and thought my decoy was the gobbler that " disappeared" .
