RE: Where do you do most of your.......
I shop year ' round for turkey hunting supplies, so when I find a bargain, then I' ll make a purchase. I' d say most of my bargains come from Mills Fleet Farm, Gander Mountain, or Cabela' s. There is a place called Sportsman' s Warehouse in St. Cloud, Minnesota, that I' ve stopped in on at least three separate occasions. They always have absloutely the HIGHEST prices around, so I use their high prices as my benchmark and find a lower price for the same item elsewhere. I also keep promising myself to never waste my time stopping in there, again, after another disappointing visit, and, so far, I' ve refrained from going in their store for over 4 weeks, now.
Online, I' ve only bought some limited items from ebay, and, I question whether ebay is truly worth the effort. For example, I must have spent 20 hours monitoring the sales of Ameristep Doghouse blinds on ebay before I finally got a new one for $50. Then I saw the same blind at Fleet Farm for $59. That means I only saved $9, and spent 20 hours to save that much/little. Many of the ebay shoppers spent $75-$90, plus shipping, for the Doghouse blinds on sale there, and I thought that was ridiculous.
