Sorry I have not been around a whole lot over the season.
I' m going to have a hard time getting back into the Old life of working again. Yesterday was the end of the Ontario season and I had a ruff ending, as I had problems with other hunters everywhere.I was guiding a friend and got setup on a Gobbler and a couple of hens and had a guy run in between us and the bird, and I seen the guy , so the hunt was near ended so I let the guy know I seen him,, talk about run!
Also found trespassers in a place aswell , but over all we did get a shot and it was a miss aswell 3rd of the season.
Over all I had a good season calling into range over 30 Gobblers, only killing 13 and had 3 misses.I had a great time with the folk that I hunted with and seen lots of new excitement in some new hunters eyes.Memeries that will stick in my mind for another season. I was unable to find a Double Beard for Myself as the goal I was after, but was lucky enough to take my 80th bird myself this season. Here is the last bird that fell to my own gun this season 22.5lb, 9in Bd,1in Sp.
