Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

HEy for all of you who do the Banquets, do you find it better/ easier to put them on berfore or after the season? I like the idea of an after the hunt type banquet, but with the seaosn just ending here and having an entire month that no one gave much thought to the Banquet it seemed hard to set it up in such a short time? This is the 1st one I' ve put on and it' s been tough having that long of a break in planning. By the way if your in the area of Auburn WA. stop into the Muckleshoot Casino on Saturday the 31st @ 5pm and join the GreenRiver Gobbler' s make their inuagural Banquet a great one

I' ve only worked on the before season banquet and have enjoyed it. Ours is about five weeks before season and seems to work out very well. Especially this year when we had several turkey related reg' s going up before the Game Commission.

Our chapter always likes to get the banquet done and over with before the season begins. We usually begin our donation collecting efforts in October, November, December and January of the following year and host the banquet in February or March. The season kicks in on April 15th and we have our banquet done and can concentrate on turkey hunting. Trust me...it works out really well to not have the banquet " hanging over your head" while your trying to concentrate on filling a tag.
